Welcome!

 Welcome to my website!

This website is mainly designed to advertise potential conferences and workshops I organise or co-organise. So, in case you found your way here for these events, jump right ahead to the registration page.

I’m a PI at the Otto-von-Guericke-University, Magdeburg with a Post Doc Fellowship at the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences (CBBS). Currently, I’m focussing on augmented reality devices to help elderly people.

Further, I’m interested in the generalisability of attentional, perceptual and working memory processes. More specifically, a large part of my work addresses the question whether research results from single modalities (e.g. visual or auditory) are transferable to more naturalistic multisensory contexts and how underlying (neural) mechanisms differ between modality-specific contexts. To this end, I typically use psychophysical (mainly EEG, fMRI, combined EEG/fMRI) and computational methods.
